Max Planck Encyclopedia of Public International Law

This online encyclopedia summarizes hundreds of public international law related topics, including many on international criminal law, international humanitarian law, and human rights. It is published by Oxford University Press under the auspices of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany. The articles are written by some of the most recognized scholars in public international law and often have helpful bibliographies with suggestions for further research on the topic. The library's subscription to the encyclopedia is available from our Online Resources page.

Oxford Bibliographies is a subscription resource from Oxford University Press with authoritative research guides on a variety of topics, including this one on international law. Topics covered include the International Criminal Court, Crimes Against Humanity, Genocide, Customary International Law, and many, many others.
