Bloomberg Law Dockets is a valuable tool for researchers who need fast digital docket access. Bloomberg absorbs much of the cost of academic docket research so that subscribers like the Law Library can pay a flat fee.
To keep costs reasonable, Bloomberg instituted a pricing policy that allows them to manage their most significant costs from academic users. Most users at Gould are unaffected by the policy, but we recommend that you search and update dockets manually, and refrain from setting up alerts on multiple cases. This will allow the library to avoid incurring additional fees from Bloomberg Law.
