Using Online Catalogs

Using Other Catalogs

WorldCat allows you to simultaneously search the holdings of thousands of libraries throughout the world. It's particularly useful for researching relevant resources not owned by USC.

When you access WorldCat, you can conduct a Basic Search or an Advanced Search. For guidance on how to search WorldCat, consult the Help screens by clicking on the "Help" button near the top of the search screen.

WorldCat will often indicate if a USC library owns the item. Please always check the local USC catalog to make sure the item is in fact owned by USC and available.
