Law Library Reopening Guide

This guide provides information on the USC Law Library's reopening during the COVID-19 public health crisis.

Reopening Information

The USC Law Library will be open for limited capacity starting March 8th, 2021. Prior to visiting the library, please be aware the Law Library is currently undergoing renovations and construction noise should be expected. Earplugs will be available at the Service Counter. No food or drinks are allowed inside the library.

Only current USC Gould students will be permitted entry.

Library hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 5:00pm

  • All students wishing to enter the Law Library will need to complete all the tasks required by the University for entry to campus. 
    Failure to adhere to these policies may result in losing reservation privileges. 

1. Complete the Trojan Learn Health & Safety Module for Students

  • Login to TrojanLearn and authenticate through Shibboleth.
  • Go to the Search bar at the top right of the screen and type in: Health, Hygiene and Safety.
  • Select Health, Hygiene and Safety
  • Click “Launch” to launch the training module.
  • Complete the training.

2. Conduct a daily Trojan Check
3. Complete a COVID-19 screening test every week or have scheduled a screening test for the same day via the USC Student Health site.


  • The Trojan Check app is available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • The Law Library does NOT accept Trojan Check Guest or Visitor Passes.
  • Students must log into Trojan Check with their USC NetID (Blackboard Login) and adhere to USC's COVID testing protocols.

  • Students must complete the Trojan Check wellness assessment every day they come to campus. Please note students must display a valid Trojan Check confirmation: a Campus Day Pass and NOT a Visitors Pass.
  • We will be using a Seat Reservation system for students wishing to use the library for study. For information on the seat reservation system, go here.
  • Print sources will now be available for pick up at the Law Library Service Counter using a paging system. For instructions on paging print materials, go here.
